The Embassy of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland in Turkmenistan announces the UK FinTech Week 2026, to be held in London from 20–24 April 2026.
The main event, the International Financial Innovation Global Summit (IFGS 2026), will bring together fintech founders, entrepreneurs, investors, bank executives, regulators, policymakers, academics, and representatives of international media.
The program offers unparalleled opportunities to explore global trends, advanced practices, and establish business connections within the UK’s financial technology ecosystem.
Participation in UK FinTech Week will allow Turkmen representatives to:
- Study the experience of leading financial regulators in developing rules and supervision methods for digital banking, payments, financial technologies, and financial stability;
- Learn how major international banks practically apply modern fintech solutions, including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, open banking, and instant payment systems;
- Establish direct contacts with UK and global technology providers capable of supporting ongoing digital transformation in Turkmenistan’s financial and banking systems;
- Compare and integrate Turkmen financial reforms with international best practices in compliance, anti-money laundering, consumer protection, and digital finance regulation.
- The Embassy believes that exposure to these advanced models and technologies will support the continued development of Turkmenistan’s financial modernization program and contribute to the adoption of political and investment decisions aligned with the country’s long-term sustainable development objectives.
