Turkish companies have implemented 1,098 projects in Turkmenistan, with a total value of $56 billion. This was reported by Turkey’s Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat on social media following a meeting with representatives of Turkish business groups operating in Turkmenistan. The meeting took place on Tuesday in Ashgabat with the support of Turkey’s Ambassador to Turkmenistan, Ahmet Demirog. The parties noted the steady pace of cooperation and the signing of new contracts by Turkish companies. Turkish companies have participated in major infrastructure projects in the Turkmen market. These include power plants and transmission networks, highways, residential complexes and shopping centers, universities and schools, public buildings, hotels, industrial facilities, museums, parks, and healthcare institutions. Ömer Bolat visited Turkmenistan to attend the Turkish Export Goods Exhibition being held in Ashgabat.
