Over the past week, 25 deals were concluded at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, totaling more than $6 million. Foreign buyers showed strong interest in petrochemical and textile products, highlighting growing export potential.
Last week, trading at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was highly active, with a total of 25 transactions registered.
Foreign businesspeople showed great interest in the products of Turkmenistan's petrochemical and textile industries:
- Petroleum Products: Representatives from the United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, Georgia, and Uzbekistan purchased base oil produced at the enterprises of the "Türkmennebit" State Concern.
- Textile and Agricultural Products: Entrepreneurs from countries including the UAE, Türkiye, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, and Romania purchased the following:- Crude fatty acids of cotton soapstock;
- Raw silk;
- Plain-dyed and jacquard terry products;
- Cotton yarn and fabric;
- Cotton fiber.
The total value of transactions carried out in foreign currency exceeded 6 million 11 thousand US dollars.
These figures once again prove that the country's export potential is increasing and that there is a high demand for Turkmen products in the global market.
