Vepa Segsengeldyyevich Hajyyev was appointed to the post of Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the UN, being relieved of his positions as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Swiss Confederation (Geneva), the Permanent Representative to the UN Office at Geneva (Swiss Confederation, Geneva), and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Vatican.
