A strategic agreement between Hazar Logistik and a major Chinese company will expand multimodal transport, maritime fleet development, and international transit corridors. International cooperation in Turkmenistan’s transport and logistics sector is reaching new heights. "Hazar Logistik" Economic Society has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on strategic cooperation in logistics and maritime fleet development with "Wenzhou Xinjiang Trading Co., LTD." from the People's Republic of China.
The founders of "Hazar Logistik," Muhammet Sahedov and Yazmyrat Orazmyradov, attended the ceremony and emphasized that this document is a vital step in strengthening economic ties between the two nations.
The signed agreement covers not only freight transportation but also the comprehensive development of logistics infrastructure. Within the framework of this cooperation, special focus will be placed on the following areas:
- Multimodal Transportation: Creating optimal logistics solutions by integrating rail, road, and sea transport.
- Maritime Fleet Development: Joint projects for the purchase, sale, and maintenance of new vessels to expand the national maritime fleet.
- International Transit Corridors: Ensuring the efficiency of the China–Turkmenistan route and extending it toward the Caspian region and European countries.
- Infrastructural Support: Collaborative use of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport facilities and warehouse terminals.
This partnership aims to increase the competitiveness of international transit routes passing through Turkmenistan. The parties plan to support each other in simplifying transit regulations and processing containerized cargo.
