Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are boosting transport and logistics cooperation, focusing on easier cargo transit and regional connectivity.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Annaev held a meeting with the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Turkmenistan, Ravshanbek Alimov. During the talks, the parties discussed the current state and future of strategic cooperation in the transport, logistics, and communications sectors between the two neighboring states.
According to a report by the "Dunyo" news agency on Thursday, it was specifically noted during the meeting that Turkmen-Uzbek trade and economic relations have gained steady growth momentum in recent years.

- Improving Transport Infrastructure: Developing roads and logistical centers that meet international standards;
- Incentives for Carriers: Creating favorable conditions at border crossings and for freight transportation;
- Communications Sector: Strengthening digital communication and information exchange between the two countries.
It was emphasized that deepening relations in the transport-transit and logistics sectors will increase the efficiency of regional corridors and contribute to the economic integration of Central Asia.
