The latest iOS 26.4 beta introduces AirPlay video, finally allowing users to watch content on their car's dashboard. An Apple TV app will appear on the CarPlay home screen, and third-party apps will be able to stream video via AirPlay. However, Apple has set two main conditions: video playback is only available while the vehicle is parked, and car manufacturers must manually enable this feature in their software updates.
