OGT 2026: Registration Opens for Major International Energy Forum in Ashgabat

The capital of Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, is once again gathering the world's energy elite. Official registration has begun for the 31st International Conference and Exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – OGT 2026," which will be held from October 21 to 23, 2026. This year's motto: "Energy, Cooperation, Development" The OGT 2026 forum will build on the great success of the OGT 2025 event. As a reminder, the previous forum featured: - Over 1,400 delegates from more than 70 countries; - Over 100 international companies; - Nearly 80 high-level speakers and moderators. The agenda of OGT 2026 will cover the most pressing issues in the energy sector. A primary focus will be on the development of Phase IV of the "Galkynysh" field, one of the world's largest gas fields. This project will enable the production of an additional 10 billion cubic meters of natural gas annually. Other key areas include: - TAPI Project: Construction of the Turkmenistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan–India gas pipeline; - Caspian Sea: Development of offshore blocks in the Turkmen sector; - Environmental Sustainability: Reduction of methane emissions and the transition to "green" energy; - Future Energy: Hydrogen energy and renewable energy sources; - Digitalization: Implementation of smart systems in the oil and gas industry.
