The Galaxy S26 Ultra features built-in Privacy Display technology, offering two modes to keep screen content secure from onlookers.
Samsung has introduced the Privacy Display feature in its flagship Galaxy S26 Ultra, designed to protect sensitive information from prying eyes. This new technology, integrated directly into the display, has already been demonstrated on a live device in Dubai.
The Privacy Display functions at the hardware level: when activated, the screen becomes nearly unreadable from an angle while maintaining full clarity for the user looking directly at it. Two protection modes are available:
- Standard — provides a solid level of privacy with moderate viewing angle reduction.
- Maximum protection — a more aggressive version that strictly limits side visibility.
