The Turkmenabat branch of the State Joint-Stock Commercial Bank of Turkmenistan "Turkmenbashy" announces the availability of loans for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The purpose of these loans is to provide state support for entrepreneurship, fill the market with local products by creating new jobs, develop competition, increase investment activity, and implement investment projects in priority sectors for the country. Loans are provided at an annual interest rate of 5% (including the bank's margin) for the following terms: - For investment projects: up to 10 years; - For working capital: up to 1 year. Eligible investment projects include those aimed at: - Developing the production of industrial goods; - Organizing, expanding, reconstructing, and technically re-equipping existing production facilities, including the purchase of equipment for small-scale production, small machinery, raw materials, semi-finished goods, and accessories; - Developing construction, including infrastructure objects; - Developing the construction materials industry; - Developing transport, communications, and information technology; - Developing service sectors and social services for the population; - Developing healthcare and tourism services; - Reclaiming new lands for agricultural production and restoring abandoned lands; - Developing and expanding agricultural production, increasing the volume of processed products, including the purchase of agricultural machinery, building livestock pens and farms, purchasing livestock, poultry, feed, veterinary medicines, chemicals for plant protection, mineral fertilizers, seeds, and saplings; - Producing folk crafts and applied arts; - Other types of entrepreneurial and innovation activities not prohibited by the laws of Turkmenistan. Loans are granted on the condition that the entrepreneur contributes at least 15% of their own funds to the investment project.
