In 2026, Ashgabat will receive 8.78 billion manats in investment for development. About 41.9% will go to production facilities, while the rest will support housing, infrastructure, and modernization projects.
According to the "Program for Socio-Economic Development and Investment of Turkmenistan in 2026," the total amount of capital investment allocated for the city of Ashgabat in 2026 amounts to 8 billion 781 million manats. This was reported by the official media of Turkmenistan on Tuesday.
Out of the total planned investment, 3 billion 680 million manats, or 41.9%, will be directed toward the construction of production facilities and the renovation of existing structures.
As noted in the report, large-scale measures are currently being implemented to modernize the architectural appearance of Ashgabat, turn it into a garden city, build new residential complexes, and renovate existing engineering and technical systems.
In September of this year, the construction of ten modern 9-story residential buildings will be completed in the "Parahat — 7" residential complex: four buildings with 36 apartments each, four buildings with 54 apartments each, and two buildings with 72 apartments each.
