The postal service company “Turkmenpost” is working to launch new services for delivering goods from major international online platforms to Turkmenistan. The integration of digital systems will enable tracking of shipments and automation of logistics.
The postal service company “Turkmenpost,” within the framework of international cooperation, is implementing relevant work to establish new services for organizing the delivery to Turkmenistan of goods purchased from major foreign online marketplaces and online stores such as “Omniva,” “Amazon,” “eBay,” “AliExpress,” “Rakuten,” “Wildberries,” “Adex,” and “Internet Resheniya.” This was reported by the telecommunications company “Turkmentelekom” last Wednesday.
As noted in the report, for the purpose of exchanging electronic data, tracking international postal shipments, and digitalizing postal services, “Turkmenpost” has been connected to the Universal Postal Union's digital systems “IPS” (International Postal System) and “CDS” (Customs Declaration System).
This, in turn, has created opportunities for reliable and efficient international postal shipments, tracking them, automating logistics operations, improving customer service quality, and exchanging large volumes of data quickly and securely, the report emphasizes.
Currently, the postal service company “Turkmenpost” continues to establish relations with foreign companies, activate logistics, and implement modern solutions for e-commerce platforms and postal delivery.
“Turkmenpost” has been a member of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) since 1993 and currently maintains multilateral relations with 192 foreign postal operators.
