President Serdar Berdimuhamedow signed a decree to honor war veterans on the 81st Victory anniversary. Veterans will receive cash rewards and commemorative gifts.
The President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, signed a special Decree on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945. This document is a further testament to the state-level respect shown for the unparalleled services of war veterans and our mothers who worked on the home front.
In the document signed by the Head of State, the bravery shown by our veterans on the battlefields and the exemplary labor of our grey-haired mothers in the rear are particularly emphasized. Their noble work in raising the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism, courage, and unity is a lofty principle of the current era.
Solemn Presentation Ceremonies In accordance with the Decree, the administrations (khyakimliks) of provinces, cities, and districts have been instructed to present the following to war veterans on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan in honor of the 81st anniversary of the Victory:
- Monetary gifts;
- Valuable commemorative gifts.
The award ceremonies will be held across the country in a festive spirit and a particularly solemn atmosphere. These events will further celebrate our people's reverence for historical heroism and the value of a peaceful life.
