New achievements of Turkmen gas workers signal high results in 2026

On the eve of 2026, significant progress has been made by «Türkmengaz» in implementing the national energy strategy. Under the order of the «Marygazçykaryş» Directorate, the «Türkmengazburawlaýyş» Directorate drilled production well No. 110 at the «Galkynyş» field to a depth of 4180 meters. During testing of the layer at 4149–4015 meters, over 2 million cubic meters of natural gas were obtained in one day. By order of the «Döwletabatgazçykaryş» Directorate, in accordance with the plan to increase sour-free gas production in the Central Karakum gas field group, production well No. 264 was drilled to a depth of 1200 meters at the «Toparjulba» field. When developing the layer at 1085–1082 meters, approximately 300 thousand cubic meters of natural gas were produced in one day. These results demonstrate the effectiveness of «Türkmengaz»’s large-scale efforts to increase natural gas and condensate production, steadily develop the «Galkynyş» field, and expand the sector’s export and production capacity.
