Samsung is preparing the Galaxy S27 Ultra with a significantly updated camera. According to insider Ice Universe, the main module will receive a new 200-MP sensor S5KHP6 (ISOCELL HP6). The optical format will remain the same as that of the current ISOCELL HP2, but new technologies will be introduced to improve photo and video shooting.
Although the Galaxy S26 lineup has not yet been officially presented, information about the next generation of Samsung flagships is already appearing online. A reliable insider, Ice Universe, shared details about the key camera module of the upcoming Galaxy S27 Ultra.
According to him, the smartphone will receive a new 200-megapixel S5KHP6 (ISOCELL HP6) sensor. The optical format will remain the same as that of the current ISOCELL HP2, while Samsung will implement updated algorithms and hardware solutions that should noticeably improve photo and video quality.
Previously, the insider reported that in the Galaxy S27 Ultra not only the main camera, but also:
- the ultra-wide-angle camera
- the front camera
- will be updated. At the same time, the telephoto camera module, according to preliminary information, will not undergo major changes. Nevertheless, the camera system is expected to receive a comprehensive upgrade that will become one of the key advantages of the model.
