Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan discussed the mutual recognition of educational diplomas

On February 24, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan discussed cooperation in education and science, including mutual recognition of diplomas. They also addressed joint projects in school and vocational education.
On February 24, a meeting was held between the Minister of Education of Turkmenistan, J. Gurbangeldiyev, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Turkmenistan, Azizbek Madmarov.
During the meeting, issues of developing bilateral cooperation in the fields of education and science were discussed. The consistent expansion of cooperation between the two countries was noted, along with the importance of exchanging experience and implementing joint projects. Kyrgyz students were invited to participate in the 3rd International Mathematical Olympiad for schoolchildren, scheduled to be held in Ashgabat from April 8 to 13 this year. The possibility of organizing a working visit for the Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic to Ashgabat during this international competition was also discussed.
The Kyrgyz side invited the Turkmen delegation to participate in the International Scientific and Practical Conference to be held as part of the 6th World Nomad Games.
The meeting also highlighted the expediency of developing cooperation in the mutual recognition of diplomas and in the field of secondary vocational education.
The parties expressed confidence that the further expansion of cooperation would further strengthen the friendly and cooperative relations between Turkmenistan and the Kyrgyz Republic.
