On May 2, 2026, a significant event took place at the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan. A ceremony was held at the Service's Training Center to present special certificates to young servicemen who successfully completed their professional training and to confer upon them their first officer military ranks.
The training, organized in accordance with the Regulations of the Training Center under the State Customs Service, lasted for two months. During the new training period that began on March 2 of this year, the young specialists deeply mastered the intricacies of customs work and the foundations of military discipline.
The main feature of the curriculum was the integration of theory with practice. Under the guidance of mentor customs officers, the youth:
- Studied various areas of customs operations;
- Became closely acquainted with the operational features of modern X-ray inspection equipment at the international customs terminal;
- Completed practical internships at customs points, reinforcing their acquired knowledge in the field.
The young servicemen who passed the professional exams at the end of the course with high marks were awarded their first officer ranks. The most moving moment of the ceremony was the military oath taken by the young officers.
The young customs officers solemnly pledged their loyalty to the Motherland, the people, and the Honorable Supreme Commander-in-Chief. They emphasized that they would faithfully fulfill their responsible duties in ensuring the country's economic security and protecting the integrity of customs borders.
