Batyr Charyýew was awarded the prestigious “Best Actor” prize for his contribution to Turkic world theater art. At the ceremony organized by TÜRKSOY and the “Anadolu” newspaper, he received a special commemorative badge.
In Istanbul, organized by the International Organization of the Turkic World (TÜRKSOY) and the “Anadolu” newspaper, a ceremony was held to honor artists for their contributions to Turkic world theater art. Awards were presented to selected artists from member countries for their successful achievements in their fields.
Among the awardees from our country, Batyr Charyýew, stage master of the Great Saparmurat Turkmenbashi Academic Drama Theater and honored artist of Turkmenistan, received a prestigious award in the category “Best Actor.” TÜRKSOY Secretary-General’s assistant Seyit Yusuf presented him with a special commemorative badge.
During the ceremony, Batyr Charyýew emphasized that the excellent opportunities created in our country enable remarkable achievements in Turkmen art, and he recited a poem about the Motherland. The artist’s poetic performance was warmly received with enthusiastic applause from the participants.
