According to the latest data from the State Statistics Committee, 15 enterprises created with the participation of Turkmen investors are currently active in the strategically important transport and storage sector of the neighboring country. Sectoral Report and Investment Conditions While a total of 585 foreign enterprises are registered in Uzbekistan's transport and logistics system, Turkmen companies are steadily expanding their presence. Overall, the total number of enterprises operating in Uzbekistan with the participation of Turkmen capital has reached 200. Trade Turnover: First Results of 2026 Trade turnover between the two countries is growing not only in quantity but also in quality. According to the results of January–February 2026: - Total Trade Turnover: 149.5 million US dollars. This figure shows sustainable growth compared to the same period in previous years. The operation of 15 transport companies in Uzbekistan proves that Turkmenistan's strategy to become a regional logistical hub is being carried out in harmony with neighboring countries.
