Customs Service Representatives Participated in the WCO Meeting

Representatives of the Training Center under the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan participated via video link in the 21st global meeting of regional entities established by the member states of the World Customs Organization (WCO) and the offices of the Vice-Chairs of the WCO Council. This was reported on the official website of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan. As noted in the report, during the event, the current activities of the WCO's regional structures, the exchange of best practices between regional training centers, and modern approaches to developing the capacities of customs authorities were discussed. Special attention was paid to the implementation of e-learning and digital platforms, as well as the use of distance learning. The representatives of Turkmenistan familiarized themselves with the WCO's new capacity-building initiatives. The information obtained will be used in further efforts to improve educational programs and develop international cooperation in the customs sector.
