Afghanistan Intensifies Product Exports via Lapis Lazuli Corridor Through Turkmenistan

Afghanistan is increasing exports through the **Lapis Lazuli Corridor>.
Eight shipments were exported via the Turgundi dry port on the Afghan–Turkmen border. The cargo includes dried fruits, jams, pressure cookers and energy drinks. After reaching Turkey, the goods will be re-exported to Saudi Arabia, United States, Australia and the Netherlands.
Afghanistan is intensifying the export of its products through the Lapis Lazuli corridor passing through Turkmenistan.
According to the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation of Afghanistan, eight cargo shipments were sent for export through the Torghundi dry port on the Turkmen-Afghan border. "Ariana News" reported this on Sunday.
The shipments include dried fruits, jam, pressure cookers, and energy drinks. After the goods reach Turkey, they are planned to be re-exported to the markets of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the USA, Australia, and the Netherlands.
The Lapis Lazuli corridor, launched in 2018, connects Afghanistan to European markets via Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey.
