Trade Between Turkmenistan and the United Kingdom Reaches £102 Million

Trade turnover between Turkmenistan and the United Kingdom amounted to £102 million between September 2024 and September 2025, according to the UK Department for Business and Trade. The report notes that this figure is 22.9 percent, or £19 million, higher than in the comparable period ending in the third quarter of 2024. During the reporting period, UK exports to Turkmenistan totaled £92 million, representing an increase of £35 million, or 61.4 percent, compared to the same period in 2024. At the same time, UK imports from Turkmenistan amounted to £10 million. The main goods imported by Turkmenistan from the UK include general industrial machinery and scientific instruments. Key exports from Turkmenistan to the UK include inorganic chemicals, mechanical power generators, and metal ores.
