Youth in Lebap are achieving success in learning Chinese 🇨🇳📚 Specialized schools and universities are shaping a new generation of experts. A strong foundation for Turkmen-Chinese cooperation!
Centuries-old friendly relations between Turkmenistan and the People's Republic of China are being enriched with new content today. One of the most important directions of this strategic partnership is the field of science and education. The fact that more than 10,000 Turkmen students are currently studying at prestigious Chinese universities shows the high level of interest in our country toward the language of this friendly nation.
Lebap region occupies one of the leading positions in the country in providing in-depth Chinese language education. There are two specialized model secondary schools in our region focusing on the Chinese language:
- Secondary School No. 14 in Turkmenabat: Chinese has been taught systematically in this school for nearly ten years. Thanks to the efforts of highly qualified teachers, students not only master the language but also participate in short-term internships in China itself. Many graduates of this school are currently students at China's top educational institutions.
- Secondary School No. 20 in Seydi: This educational institution is also recognized as a center for the Chinese language in the region. Students of the school regularly win prizes in state-level competitions. An example of this is the success of student Aygozel Myratgeldiyeva in the state stage of an essay writing competition.
The teaching of Chinese in schools is carried out in close connection with higher education institutions. The Seyitnazar Seydi Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute trains highly qualified specialists in the major of "Chinese Language and Literature." Students of the institute undergo practical internships at the aforementioned schools to improve their professional skills.
The ability of the younger generation to speak, read, and write fluently in Chinese is clear evidence of the emergence of specialists who will raise trade, economic, and cultural relations between the two countries to new heights in the future.
