Bridge of Education and Science: Turkmenistan and Italy Sign New Cooperation Agreement

A new chapter has opened in the history of Turkmen-Italian humanitarian relations. Yesterday, during an online conference, a cooperation agreement was solemnly signed between the Magtymguly Turkmen State University and the Gabriele d'Annunzio University of Chieti and Pescara, Italy. The signed document is aimed at strengthening cultural and scientific ties not only between the two universities but also between the two countries. The agreement envisages activities in the following specific areas: - Organizing exchange visits for teachers and students to share experiences. - Conducting research of international significance in fields such as archaeology, history, and cultural heritage. - Organizing online and offline lectures for students featuring professors from both countries. - Exchanging experience in implementing modern and innovative teaching methods. This prestigious Italian higher education institution is considered one of the world's leading scientific centers in fields such as history, geology, engineering, architecture, and medicine. In particular, the university's research work on archaeology and cultural heritage in Central Asia is of great importance to Turkmenistan. The cooperation between the two universities will allow for a more thorough introduction of the rich cultural heritage and ancient history of the Turkmen people to global science. This partnership is expected to pave the way for new discoveries in the humanities—specifically archaeology and modern history.
