Turkmen-Belarusian Business Cooperation: New Meetings Expected in May

A large delegation of business representatives from the Republic of Belarus will pay an official working visit to Ashgabat from May 22 to 28, 2026. This event aims to further expand trade and economic relations between the two countries. The visit is organized by the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the active support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Embassy of Belarus in Turkmenistan. The visit program includes: - "White City Ashgabat" International Exhibition: Belarusian representatives will participate in this major exhibition dedicated to the capital's development, construction, and architecture. - B2B Meetings: Bilateral negotiations will be held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan to establish direct contacts between entrepreneurs of both nations. - Enterprise Visits: Representatives of Belarusian companies will familiarize themselves with the operations of local enterprises in their areas of interest. This upcoming visit proves the consistent nature of the relations between the two countries. Notably, a visit by Belarusian businessmen to Turkmenistan was also organized between March 14 and 20 of this year. As a result of that visit, important initiatives were proposed regarding the introduction of Belarusian products to the Turkmen market and the opening of new retail outlets. The new meetings in May will provide the parties with opportunities to sign new contracts and discuss joint projects in the industrial, construction, and trade sectors.
