Turkmenistan and Belarus agreed on permit quotas for international road freight transport for 2027. The decision was made at a joint committee meeting in Minsk.
Turkmenistan and the Republic of Belarus have agreed on quotas for the exchange of permits to carry out international road freight transport in 2027.
The relevant decision was made following a meeting of the joint Turkmen-Belarusian commission on international road transport held in Minsk. The Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Belarus reported this on Friday.
According to the agreements reached, the parties agreed on a mutual basis on the possibility for drivers from both countries to use digital tachograph printouts, provided that the vehicles are equipped with control devices that comply with the requirements of the European Agreement concerning the Work of Crews of Vehicles (AETR).
During the meeting, representatives of the relevant authorities from both countries also discussed key issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of road freight transport.
