Ambassador of Turkmenistan Met with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova

Turkmenistan’s Ambassador to Moldova Toyly Ataýew met in Chisinau with Moldova’s State Secretary of Foreign Affairs Serghei Mihov. The sides discussed strengthening political dialogue, expanding economic cooperation, boosting interparliamentary ties, and enhancing collaboration in education and culture.
The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Moldova (with residence in Kyiv), Toyly Atayev, during a working visit to Chișinău, held talks with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova, Sergiu Mihov.
During the meeting, which took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, special attention was paid to further strengthening the political dialogue between the two countries and expanding the bilateral legal framework. The parties agreed to support each other and coordinate issues in the international arena, particularly within the framework of the United Nations and other reputable international organizations.
During the negotiations, the following areas were addressed:
- The current state of economic relations and ways to increase trade turnover between the two countries were discussed.
- The necessity of intensifying the activities of inter-parliamentary friendship groups of the two states was noted.
- Cultural exchange, cooperation in the fields of science and education were characterized as important factors strengthening friendship between the peoples.
At the end of the talks, the Turkmen side invited representatives of Moldova to participate in various international events to be held in Turkmenistan.
