
The Chairman of the State Committee of Turkmenistan on Statistics, Dowletgeldi Amanmuhammedow, at the expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on Friday, reported that following the results of 2025, 76 billion 527.1 million cubic meters of natural gas and 8 million 382.3 thousand tons of oil were produced. This was reported by the official media of Turkmenistan.
The Chairman of the State Committee on Statistics announced that compared to 2024, in 2025, the production of diesel fuel increased by 9.8%, gasoline by 6.2%, kerosene by 5.4%, petroleum bitumen by 26.4%, liquefied petroleum gases by 5.2%, cement by 40.9%, rebar and iron products by 22.3%, confectionery by 10.1%, sausage products by 7.3%, pasta products by 5%, and butter by 2.9%.
As noted in the report, during the reporting period, the value of industrial products in cotton yarn increased by 11%, and in cotton fabrics by 16.7%.
Furthermore, Dowletgeldi Amanmuhammedow reported that by the end of 2025, in the transport and communications sector, the freight turnover of all types of transport increased by 3.7%, and passenger turnover by 5.3%. The volume of communication services increased by 19.6%.
In addition, in the agriculture of Turkmenistan, compared to 2024, the production of vegetables increased by 11.8%, melons by 11.7%, potatoes by 4.7%, eggs by 8%, and milk by 2.1%. The report noted that positive indicators were also achieved in the non-state sector of the economy in 2025.
During the meeting, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov also stated that in 2026, 30 residential buildings and numerous trade and service outlets in the "Parahat — 7" residential area of Ashgabat, 46 modern residential buildings in the residential area of Buzmeyin district, and 127 two-story cottage-type residential buildings in the capital will be commissioned.
