5,245 New Jobs Are Planned to Be Created Nationwide in 2026

At the expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on February 13, Honorable President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Decree approving the "Program for Socio-Economic Development and Investments of Turkmenistan in 2026" and emphasized the necessity of carrying out relevant work to successfully implement the tasks set in the Program for 2026.

This important document sets tasks such as ensuring socio-economic growth in our Motherland this year, pursuing an active investment policy, implementing modern digital technologies into industries, creating new jobs, and further improving the standard of living of citizens.

Accordingly, it is planned to create a total of 5,245 new jobs across the country through the construction of new enterprises in economic sectors and the reconstruction of existing ones. This was reported in today's issue of the "Türkmenistan" newspaper, dated February 24. This will provide an opportunity to increase the employment rate of the able-bodied population.
