52nd Meeting of the Council of Senior Officials of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)

From 31 January to 2 February 2026, the delegation of Turkmenistan took part in the 52nd Meeting of the Council of Senior Officials of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). This meeting represented the third and most important preparatory stage ahead of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers, scheduled to be held on 11–12 April 2026 in Baghdad.

During the meeting, the Turkmen side presented a draft resolution entitled “The Role of the Policy of Neutrality in Ensuring and Strengthening International Peace, Security and Sustainable Development within the OIC Space and at the Global Level” for adoption at the 52nd session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers.

The participants also developed strategic solutions in political, legal, information and humanitarian fields, and finalized the working agenda for foreign ministers in preparation for its adoption.
