Success in the education system is measured not only by modern buildings but also by the dedication of professionals who are passionate about their work. Maýa Gündogdyýewa, a History and Social Studies teacher at secondary school No. 30 in the Kerki district, is one such accomplished individual.
For Maýa, teaching is not just a profession but a family tradition. Her father, Rähmet aga, and her mother, Akjagül mugallym, worked in the field of education for many years, earning great respect in the district. Following her parents' example, Maýa graduated from Magtymguly Turkmen State University in 2018 and began her career with great enthusiasm.
In her lessons, Maýa mugallym skillfully uses multimedia boards and innovative technologies. The engaging games, quizzes, and puzzles she creates increase students' interest in their studies. By combining the experience of veteran teachers with modern requirements, the young professional quickly earned high prestige among her colleagues.
Maýa’s hard work is clearly reflected in the achievements of her students:
Maýa Gündogdyýewa does not limit herself to teaching; she also actively participates in the school's social life. She leads the "Gülälek" organization for female students and the methodological union for the history and geography department. Additionally, she achieved high results in the district stage of the "Teacher of the Year — 2025" competition.
