A Meeting with Textile Workers was Held

Gullala Achylowa, Intersectoral Coordinator of the Lebap Provincial Union of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan: The modern textile complexes built and commissioned in all regions of our country during the years of independence allow for the production of competitive products that satisfy the demands of not only the domestic market but also international markets. Among such modern enterprises, the Turkmenabat Cotton Yarn Factory holds a special place. The harmonious staff of the enterprise, marking the current year with high labor enthusiasm, is steadily increasing the pace of production.

The holding of a solemn conference titled "Turkmenistan — The Land of Eternal Happiness" here was a clear sign of the great attention paid to the development of the textile sector. Students undergoing practical training actively participated in the conference, which was jointly organized by our provincial union, this enterprise, and the Turkmenabat Agro-Industrial Vocational School. The conference specifically emphasized the wide-ranging efforts aimed at developing the textile industry, achieving high productivity, guiding young specialists into the profession, and creating favorable living conditions for textile workers.
