What fertilizers will be produced in Turkmenabat?

The new plant will specialize in the production of:

Phosphate fertilizers, essential for increasing crop yields;

Ammonium sulfate, a popular nitrogen fertilizer with sulfur, suitable for a variety of crops.

The launch of the new complex is scheduled for 2029, and it will become an important element in the industrial development of Turkmenabat and reinforce Lebap’s position as a strategic industrial region.

Daewoo E&C expands its presence in the region

Daewoo Engineering & Construction, which opened its branch office in Ashgabat in October 2023, is actively strengthening its presence in the Turkmen market. The new project in Turkmenabat will be the largest joint infrastructure initiative in recent years.

“Turkmenabat is an ideal location for a major chemical production facility. It is the heart of Lebap and a key logistical hub of the country,” noted a source close to the project.
