The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow made a working trip to Arkadag city. Here, the National Leader of the Turkmen people got acquainted with the design drawings of buildings planned for construction in the next phase of developing the new city, information on their decoration features, and held a working meeting with the participation of relevant officials.

Having inspected the territory of the new city, the National Leader of the Turkmen people instructed that the quality level of ongoing work be kept under constant control. The Honored Architect of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag, got acquainted with the projects of modern facilities planned for construction within the territory of the new city and their decoration features.

Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of Arkadag City under the President of Turkmenistan D. Orazow and Mayor (Hokim) of Arkadag city G. Mämmedowa reported on the prepared projects of social-purpose buildings planned for construction and modernization in the second stage of the new city, including a specialized secondary school focusing on foreign languages, a kindergarten, and a sports complex being constructed using the funds of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assisting Children in Need of Guardianship, as well as on the large-scale construction works being carried out in the territory of the new city.
