The mixed martial arts organization Absolute Championship Akhmat (ACA) is set to host a major tournament in Dushanbe at the end of October 2026. This landmark event marks the promotion’s official return to Tajikistan after more than a decade, with its last event in the country taking place back in 2015.

The official decision was finalized following high-level delegations and talks between ACA representatives and Tajikistan’s national sports authorities. ACA head Magomed Bibulatov emphasized that bringing the promotion back to Dushanbe directly addresses long-standing requests from local fans, who remain among the organization's most loyal supporters.

The tournament represents a key international milestone for ACA's autumn schedule, with exact dates, venue details, and fight card announcements expected in the coming weeks. Turkmen combat sports fans will notably remember ACA as the battleground where Turkmen star Dovletjan Yagshimuradov became the undisputed light heavyweight champion—defending the title twice and making history as the first fighter from Turkmenistan to hold a major Russian MMA belt before transitioning to the PFL.
