Admission Procedure to the Specialized Military Schools of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan for the 2026–2027 Academic Year
Admission to the Specialized Military Schools of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan is conducted among boys who wish to study at these schools, aged 14–15, who have completed the 8th grade of secondary school in 2026, and who are mentally and physically healthy.
The duration of study at the specialized military schools is 4 academic years. The curriculum combines academic and military-educational classes, daily military duties, physical training, and advanced initial military training.
Applicants must submit an application to the local military authority by May 1, 2026, with the following documents:
parental or legal guardian consent for the candidate to study;
copy of parents’ or legal guardians’ identity documents;
completed questionnaire and resume approved by the military office;
birth certificate certified according to the Law on Administrative Procedures;
school performance report for 8th grade (quarters 1–3);
photographs in sizes 3×4 (6 pcs.), 4×6 (4 pcs.), 9×12 (2 pcs.), certified by the local military authority;
school recommendation;
copy of the student’s personal file with principal’s stamp;
medical certificate confirming fitness to study, issued by the local clinic and validated by a medical board;
copy of the vaccination card;
certificate of residence and family status;
if a parent is deceased — a certified death certificate.
Applicants take tests in subjects up to the 8th grade curriculum and a Turkmen language dictation. Entrance exams are conducted in the Turkmen language.
Accepted students are provided with dormitory accommodation, military uniforms, educational materials, and four meals a day.
