
At the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad, a meeting was held between Turkmenistan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, A. Möwlamow, and Spain’s newly appointed Ambassador to Pakistan, Carlos Aragon. This was reported on the embassy’s official website.
During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities to develop bilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and Spain in trade, transit, energy, and other mutually interesting areas.
The Spanish ambassador shared his country’s experience in combating desertification caused by climate change, as well as national initiatives for sustainable management of natural resources.
From this perspective, the significant potential and economic feasibility of the trade route through Afghanistan and Pakistan were emphasized.
