
An international conference titled "Turkmenistan: Language, Literature, History and Culture", dedicated to the 2026 motto of the year "Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan – the Hearth of Accomplishing Desires with the Speed of a Steed", was held at the Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn. This important event is reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The faculty members and students of the Kyrgyz National University participated in the scientific and cultural conference. Furthermore, representatives and scholars from the Magtymguly Turkmen State University, as well as leading higher education institutions of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, and the Republic of Türkiye, ensured active participation via a video communication system.
Speakers during the conference highly praised the content and political-social significance of the motto chosen by Turkmenistan for the year 2026. As noted, this motto celebrates sacred concepts such as permanent neutrality, peace, and national cohesion, which form the core of state policy. Additionally, it symbolizes Turkmenistan's prestige in the international arena, its new achievements in economic and cultural development, and the people's great aspiration toward prosperity.
Representatives of the Magtymguly Turkmen State University, who joined the international event via a digital system, gave extensive reports on the richness of the Turkmen language, national literature, history, and noble traditions. At the conference, Turkmenistan's achievements in the political, economic, and social systems, as well as the rich historical and cultural heritage contributed by the Turkmen people to world culture, were widely reflected.
