Apple is planning to release at least five new iPhone models during the second half of 2026 and the first half of 2027, including its first foldable smartphone. This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing Nikkei Asia.

According to one of Apple's major suppliers, demand for the iPhone 17 remains strong, while the company has already instructed suppliers to prepare chips and key components for the iPhone 18 lineup.
According to Nikkei Asia, Apple plans to launch the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and its first foldable iPhone in the second half of 2026. During the first half of 2027, the company is expected to introduce at least two more models: the standard iPhone 18 and the new iPhone Air.
The publication also reports that Apple has instructed its suppliers to prepare for the production of nearly 10 million foldable iPhones this year. Overall, the company aims to manufacture more than 220 million iPhones in the 2026 calendar year, including both existing and newly introduced models.
