Apple to Unveil Smarter Siri in February

Apple may introduce an updated and significantly smarter version of Siri in February. According to Bloomberg, the presentation is expected in the second half of the month, though the exact date is unknown.

The new Siri will be based on Google Gemini and use a specialized version called Apple Foundation Model version 1.0.

The assistant will not only chat like current AI chatbots but also interact with information displayed on the smartphone screen. The updated Siri is set to debut with iOS 26.4, with beta testing expected in February.
