“Arkadag” Football Club Begins Preparations in Ashgabat After Training Camp in Turkey

After a three-week intensive training camp in Antalya, the players of “Arkadag” football club returned home to begin the final stage of preparation for their historic 1/8 final match in the AFC Champions League 2. This was reported by THP.

The Turkey camp concluded on February 2, and the team did not take a long break. Upon returning, “Arkadag” players held their first training session at the Ashgabat Olympic Stadium. The crucial match against Saudi Arabia’s “Al-Nassr” will be held at the same venue on February 11.

The first training focused on recovery. Coaches concentrated on tactical preparation of the squad.

It should be noted that the capital is currently undergoing extensive preparations for one of the most important sporting events in the country’s history — the 1/8 final of the AFC Champions League 2. The Olympic Stadium will host 45,000 spectators for an exciting match. Their enthusiastic support will serve as the “twelfth player” and provide the team with a strong moral boost.
