
Vessels of the "Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping" Closed Joint-Stock Company (ASCO) are involved in transporting pipes intended for the construction of the Turkmenistan – Afghanistan – Pakistan – India (TAPI) gas pipeline.
According to ASCO's report on Monday, the transportation is carried out from the Baku International Sea Trade Port to the Turkmenbashi International Seaport.
The company's multi-purpose dry cargo vessels "Natavan", "Rasul Rza", "Garadag", "Teymur Ahmedov", and "Maestro Niyazi" are participating in this operation.
As noted in the report, it is planned to transport 11,700 pipes using these vessels by the end of the year.
