On October 1–2, the Turkmenistan Investment Forum — TIF 2026 will be held at the "Yyldyz" Hotel in Ashgabat. This major international-level economic event will bring together government officials from over 45 countries, heads of large international companies, investors, and representatives of international financial organizations.
The forum is organized by the Ministry of Finance and Economy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan in partnership with the "Turkmen Congress" company.
The TIF 2026 program includes a series of speeches, discussions, and negotiations with the participation of high-ranking representatives and international experts. Expected attendees include the Minister of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan Mammetguly Astanaguly, the Minister of Economy of Armenia Gevorg Papoyan, Chairman of the Board of Najd Gate Holding Prince Mansour bin Mohammed Al Saud, Director for Trade Development and Investment Promotion at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of Qatar Hamad Muhammed Al-Nasr, Head of South Korea's ONU H&C Co., Ltd. Ki-hun Yom, as well as Deputy Minister of Economy of Iran and Head of the Organization for Investment, Economic and Technical Assistance of Iran Dr. Mehdi Heydari.
Representatives of the world’s leading financial institutions will also actively participate in the forum's work. Among them are the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), and the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA).
The agenda of TIF 2026 covers crucial contemporary economic trends and strategic sectors. Key issues at the forum will include investments in the fuel, energy, and petrochemical sectors, the transition to "green" growth, the development of transit and transport corridors in the Caspian region, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence technologies.
Discussions will also focus on areas such as sustainable water resource management, agriculture and agribusiness, tourism, and urban infrastructure development.
TIF 2026 will serve as an international platform to widely present Turkmenistan's investment potential to the international business community, develop direct negotiations with foreign partners, and discuss new opportunities for economic cooperation.
Meetings and negotiations held within the framework of the forum will create conditions for discussing prospects for new economic cooperation in energy, transport, digital technologies, agriculture, urban development, and other fields.
