The Russian House in Ashgabat invites literature lovers to take part in the 6th international event "Literary Dictation", which will be held on September 25–26, 2026. The international event will allow readers interested in Russian literature to test their knowledge and expand their literary horizons.

Held annually, the "Literary Dictation" brings together literature enthusiasts from Russia and other countries. During the event, participants will test their knowledge of the works of Russian writers from various periods.

The dictation will be held in a test format, with a total of 20 questions offered to participants. The questions will cover classic and modern works of Russian literature, the creativity of famous writers, and literary heritage.

Participation in the event will take place exclusively in an in-person format at specially registered venues. This will allow participants to experience the unique atmosphere of an international event held alongside other literature enthusiasts.

Following the event, certificates will be awarded to all participants. Those who score 80 points or more will be awarded the "Distinguished Participant" diploma. The participant who achieves the highest result will be announced as the winner of the respective venue.

The organizer of the international event "Literary Dictation" is the Murmansk State Regional Universal Scientific Library. In 2026, this large-scale literary event is being held for the sixth time.

Additional information regarding the start time, registration procedure, and other conditions for participating in the "Literary Dictation" in Ashgabat is expected to be provided. Such events not only increase the interest of youth and readers in Russian literature but also contribute to the development of international cultural and humanitarian ties.
