"Asus" company has introduced the "Strix OLED XG34WCDMTG" monitor, which belongs to its line of gaming devices. This device stands out from almost all other similar gaming monitors due to its "Smart Google TV" support based on "Android 14." Consequently, this new technology has become the world's first gaming OLED monitor with such a feature.
To put it more simply, this is a "smart" Android monitor that can operate without any personal computer (PC). Furthermore, the device supports the "GeForce Now" service. This means that games can be played directly on the monitor itself without a computer.
The monitor is based on a 34-inch diagonal, ultra-wide format "QD-OLED" panel supporting 1440p resolution and a 240 Hz refresh rate. That is, it uses a previous generation panel. Additionally, the device is equipped with its own "Wi-Fi 6" module and a pair of speakers, each with a power of 5 W.
The screen curvature radius is 1800R, and the standard brightness is 250 cd/m², but in HDR mode, this figure can reach up to 1000 cd/m².
The monitor has already been released for sale at a price of 1,100 dollars.
