The final stage of the biology olympiad for senior secondary school students will take place at the State Medical University of Turkmenistan named after Myrat Garryýew.

The final round is scheduled for September 18 at 10:00 AM at the university building. Participants will include students selected from all velayats, the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, and the Saparmyrat Türkmenbaşy Specialized Secondary Boarding School.

The olympiad is organized within the framework of the 2026 action plan for implementing the Strategy for Developing Higher Professional Education in Turkmenistan for 2026–2052, aligning with youth career guidance requirements and dedicated to the motto year «Independent, permanent Neutral University — homeland of winged horses».

Structure and Stages:

  • Preliminary Rounds: Initial selections are organized by regional and Ashgabat city education departments, the Arkadag city education department, and the Saparmyrat Türkmenbaşy boarding school. Three students per school advance to district rounds, followed by regional/city rounds.

  • Regional and City Stage: Held on September 14. Following this, 5 students from each velayat, Ashgabat, and Arkadag qualify for the final. Three students from the Saparmyrat Türkmenbaşy boarding school advance directly to the final.

  • Final Exam Guidelines: Participants must arrive at the university one hour prior to the start. Regional transportation is managed by designated supervisors.

  • Testing Format: Administered in Turkmen via a specialized computer program. Each student receives an individual computer, username, and single-use password. Students are given 90 minutes to complete the test tasks.

Regulations:

  • Permitted items: paper, pen, pencil, and calculator only.

  • Prohibited: textbooks, guidebooks, mobile phones, communication devices, and external sources (violators will be disqualified).

  • Technical or organizational support is available on-site through designated staff.
