The meeting reviewed drafts of several documents planned for submission to the CIS Economic Council and the Council of Heads of Government. This was reported by the Economic Cooperation Department of the CIS Executive Committee. The agenda covered various fields, from high-tech metallurgy to the transparency of financial flows. One of the central issues was the discussion of the Concept for the Digital Transformation of the Mining and Metallurgical Complex. Now, the tax services of member states will be able to automatically view the shareholdings of individuals and legal entities in companies across the CIS. The full-scale launch of the system is planned for 2028–2029.
Members of the Commission assessed the progress of the program in the field of remote sensing of the Earth and geodesy. The creation of the Geoportal for the Unified Spatial Data Infrastructure will allow CIS countries to exchange best practices in cadastral accounting and real estate registration, as well as use satellite data for highly accurate monitoring.
On the eve of the 35th anniversary of the Commonwealth, the VDNKh venue will become the center of large-scale celebrations. It is planned that national pavilions will serve as the main showcase for our countries' achievements and hospitality.
