CNPC Announces Tender for Well Services in the "Bagtyýarlyk" Contract Area
The Turkmenistan Branch of the China National Petroleum Corporation ("CNPC International Ltd.") invites bids for international tender No. CIT-26019-SR. The tender involves the procurement of services for gas leak detection in tubing (production casing) coupling connections and tubing defect detection during downhole operations within the "Bagtyýarlyk" contract area for the period of 2026–2029.
These services will primarily be utilized on drilling rigs for well completion during the running of tubing strings alongside downhole equipment.
Key Requirements:
- Must be fully equipped with a set of hardware, a base camp, qualified specialists, and tools necessary for gas leak detection in tubing coupling connections using helium gas;
- Must perform inspection (defectoscopy) of tubing using non-destructive testing (NDT) methods within oil and gas fields characterized by high concentrations of hydrogen sulfide (sour gas) and carbon dioxide.
To participate in the tender:
- Submit an official application: draft an application indicating the full company name, legal status, country of registration, and requisites of the firm wishing to participate, along with the tender number and title;
- Settle the payment: obtain an invoice to purchase the Invitation to Bid (ITB) documents. This invoice will be issued to the company upon submission of the written application;
- Obtain the Invitation to Bid (ITB): collect the tender bidding package after presenting a copy of the company representative's passport, a copy of the power of attorney authorizing document collection, and a copy of the bank transfer confirmation.
