On October 26, 2026, a conference entitled “Your Place Is Honoured, Your Dignity Is High, Dear Women, You Are the Joy of Life” was held at the Ministry of Communications of Turkmenistan. The event focused on the role of women in society, family values, and the preservation of national traditions and customs.

The conference was jointly organised by the Ministry of Communications of Turkmenistan and the Central Council of the Women’s Union of Turkmenistan. Female employees of the ministry and its subordinate institutions and enterprises took part in the event.

During the conference, participants discussed promoting Turkmenistan’s achievements, further strengthening the country’s international standing, and preserving its national heritage and centuries-old traditions.

The importance of raising younger generations with respect for national and family values was also emphasised, along with the need to further recognise and strengthen the role of women in society.
