During the past week's trading sessions at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, a total of 10 transactions were registered. The total value of contracts concluded with foreign businesspersons exceeded 2 million 247 thousand US dollars.

During the trades, representatives of business circles from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Serbia, Azerbaijan, and Kyrgyzstan showed interest in various types of light industry and agricultural products of Turkmenistan.

Foreign buyers purchased knitwear, waffle fabric, cotton yarn, cotton lint, and refined cotton waste. In addition, transactions were concluded for licorice root extract, licorice root, and root stalks.

The high interest of foreign buyers in domestic products at the exchange trades indicates the expansion of Turkmenistan's export potential. In particular, the export of cotton products and plant-based raw materials to foreign markets creates new trading opportunities for national producers.

Local entrepreneurs also participated in the trades for the domestic market, purchasing cotton fabric worth a total of 260 thousand manats.

The results of the conducted trades demonstrate the important role of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan in organizing the trade of local products in domestic and foreign markets. Furthermore, the growth of export transactions through the exchange contributes to the development of the country's production capacity and foreign trade relations.
